Robert Conde III arrested

Silver City Police arrested Robert Conde III, 22, Friday evening on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance, from an incident that occurred on July 17.Conde was arrested on that date for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon as a result of an investigation of a domestic violence complaint. Officers responded to a complaint at the Lintero Apartment complex, and while at the apartment discovered a prescription bottle containing several small plastic bags that had a white, powdery substance in them. The substance was later tested and showed positive for cocaine.Conde was transported to the Grant County Detention Center and his bond was set at $5,000 for the possession charge.Throughout the weekend, officers also responded to a number of vandalism complaints. A total of seven incidents occurred through out Silver City in which windows were broken out of vehicles with either rocks or damaged by BB guns.
